On Saturday, Sept. 14 I brought it in for it’s annual NY state inspection. The car runs fine and there are no error codes or visible problems. It passed inspection without any problem in 2012. This year my vehicle will not pass state inspection as the OBD2 monitor status for both the Evaporative System and O2 Sensor continually show “Not Ready.”

Why does my O2 heater not show Ready?
All Smog related equipment is turned ON in his tune. It’s completing the Catalyst monitor which indicates the rear O2’s are working. I do not know why the O2 heater is not completing. We do not have access to the O2 test monitors via SCT. (different than Catalyst monitors).

Why is the oxygen sensor not ready for the drive cycle?
These constantly monitor the sensors, the fuel mixture, and the occurrence of misfires. If the oxygen sensor heater monitor is not ready, check to see how many other monitors are not ready. If the oxygen sensor and catalyst monitors are also not ready, the culprit is most likely a weak battery.
Is the O2 sensor heater ” not ready “?
I am showing all ready except “O2 Sensor Heater” (which is what the same as they told me at the emissions test). Driving: There has already been over 500 miles put on the truck since the exhaust work was done on it. I have put over 150 (freeway and city) since purchasing.
