There are several online firms that specialize in such repairs. Just Google Chrysler REC NAV repair. Some offer exchanges for refurbished items with your unit as a core or they can repair yours in most cases. Mine hasnt worked for 2 years now. Exact same thing as described.
Is the radio still working on my 2006 300C?
Like others have reported, my radio/nav unit (original to my 2006 300C) conked out two years ago. Similar issue — screen is dark, buttons on steering wheel and along the bottom of the unit don’t work, although whatever mode is currently active continues to work.

When your radio was manufactured, the manufacturer used a solder that was not up to par. This problem is known as cold soldering. The solder connects the components to the motherboard of the radio and when the space around the radio is cold, the solder contracts…like a rubberband with no tension.

The connector used in my car is the one on drivers side (there are three on the back of MyGig out of which only the drivers side one is used for anything). Additionally you will need to guide some wires for antennas and mic around the dash. The antenna connector will most probably need a Fakra to DIN adapter.
