Why is my service park brake not working?
A service Park Brake sign is coming on intermittently with a Stop/start not available message following. Took car to a local garage who advised my brake pads need changing. I had these done in April at my local Jeep dealership.

I have recently been getting a ‘Check Parking Brake’ message appear with Service & Triangle P. The parking brake appears to work without issue, showing ‘Parking Brake On or Off when the engine starts/stops, & one hears the werr of the handbrake motor.
