Install the upper intermediate steering shaft through the dash boot seal and slide the lower end into the steering gear coupling shaft. Raise the upper end of the intermediate steering shaft and install into the steering column shaft. Install the upper bolt and nut. Tighten the bolt to 47 N·m (35 lb ft). Install the lower bolt and nut.

With the clip out you can now pump grease into the shaft. I had to remove the fitting on the end of my grease gun to feed the hose further up the inside of the shaft; but if you use a mini-grease gun that won’t be necessary.
