How does RVd work? Each of the medications in the RVd regimen is designed to kill or slow the growth of myeloma cells.

The most common treatment regimens for multiple myeloma include dexamethasone along with chemotherapy drugs or with other types of medications. The chemotherapy drugs may include melphalan (Alkeran®), doxorubicin (Adriamycin ®, Rubex®), or cyclophosphamide (Cytoxan®, Neosar®).

What is VRD?

The VRD function fulfils the purpose of drastically reducing the harm which may result to a person from inadvertent contact with the electrode during non-welding pauses.

How long is a VRD cycle?

Cycle length: 21 days. Given as a single SC injection or as a rapid IV bolus over three to five seconds. Administer with water.
