Following on from the fire that completerly destroyed Bintang Supermarket, they have built a temporary supermarket at the back end of the carpark. It’s quite well stocked and still very busy. And it looks like construction on a new building is underway. I’ll update this post when it’s completed. Further updates will be posted over time.

The Bali Deli used to be the place to shop in Seminyak for groceries, butchery and fresh fish. But times have changed, and Bali Deli started downsizing, cutting corners, removing stock lines and perpetuating the downward spiral of a once-successful business. I wouldn’t bother going here at all.

Which is the best Pepito market in Bali?

There are Pepito Markets all over Bali, but the best in Seminyak is the one located in Petitenget. Limited but fresh stock of fruit and vegetables, dry goods and pharmacy items. Pretty much everything you need while on holiday. Give the butchery section a miss and go to Prime Cut or Frestive instead.
