That recall has ended a number of years ago. I have a 1994 Suburban that is white. It has the delaminating paint problem that seems to happen to only white vehicles. The recall did not have a 1994 model year vehicle included in the campaign. Does anyone else have the delaminting of their paint problem?

The cab roof peels with garden hose pressure as does areas around the door sills. Vehicle has always been garaged when not being driven. Our ’04 Suburban was peeling off the top coat (Summit White paint WA8624 code 50), on the roof, hood, and pretty much, the entire left side, exposing the primer.

When we got the suburban I was 10 years old I am now 36 years old. It is a Two-tone blue and silver color. It has the factory hubcaps because at the time they didn’t have Alloy rims for the big spindle on the rear axle. He used to sell cars and tow cars from the auction with it as a kid.

My suburban has 343k miles and its still going strong,has the usual problems,AIC goes out on them all the time but its a cheap fix,love this body style and I will most likley replace the engine and trans when needed instead of buying a new car,these old chevy’s are bullet proof.
