Is the Pachmayr grip for Ruger Security Six a good grip?
The Pachmayr is a good grip. I really like the feel compared to the original wood grips. But don’t expect a perfect fit because it does not exist. You have to amend and modify. It is what it is. Arrived today and took just seconds to put on my Service Six.

I Like the Feel of Pachmayr Grips. These grips did the job for my Security Six. But as with other reviews, the one piece design does have its flaws. You cannot get a true fit with these grips. See my pics as to the gaps that you will experience. As such, it only gets 3-Stars. I did “warm” the grips before applying. That is recommended.
