The installed software is a pure copy of LogitechMediaServer, in the .qpkg/LogitechMediaServer/SlimServer directory without changing/adding anything to it ! With the default setup, should running on you’re QNap Nas-System !

Once you have LMS installed and running, you should browse to the LMS web-page on your NAS, which is on port 9001 (I think). Under configuration you can point LMS at your media files and do a scan, it may take a while and it will tell you how many files it finds.
