UCL does all it can to secure accommodation based on your preferences, but due to the large number of students applying and the nature of our housing, we cannot guarantee that all of your preferences will be met.
Where do UCL students stay?
A lot of postgraduate and undergraduate students will find accommodation in private halls. UCL works with several different organisations to offer private accommodation to students living in London. Private halls can vary but most rooms are en-suite with shared kitchen facilities.

Where do UCL Postgrads live?
UCL Halls for Postgraduates Prankerd House is a self-catered UCL halls on North Gower Street. An obvious choice is university managed halls of residence. These tend to be split into shared flats where students will have their own bedroom, with a shared living room, kitchen and bathroom.
How do I pay my UCL rent?
To pay online, visit: http://www.ucl.ac.uk/payonline – you will need your student or invoice number. Visit the Student Residences Office. The Office is open for cheque and card payments from Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm (located at the address below).

If you would like to move halls, you can pick up a room swap form from the Accommodation Office at 117 Gower Street from 7th October onwards. If you already know another student you wish to swap with, the Accommodation Office can action a direct swap.
