Is there a grinding sound in the front?

Front Grinding Sound . . OK. 2002 4WD Yukon. Again. You’re all probably tired of hearing about it. I had a front end grinding sound noticeable when slowing to a stop. Couldn’t tell which side exactly, but it is in the front.

What kind of noise does front suspension make?

Noise in front suspension ( 05′ z71 ) when turning wheel to the left. Major Vibration?!?!

Why does my GM Truck make a popping noise?

X2.. This is a bad CV joint causing your clicking & popping Jordan. Check it & see if it’s dry. You may just need to pump a little grease into the boot & squeeze it into the joint to stop it if it isn’t too far gone. The fact that the noise is worse on a tight turn just solidifies the outer CV joint as being the problem.

Why does my car make a grinding noise?

Grinding/howling is really a bearing noise. However if that CV joint is chewed up and binding, it may have the same effect. Grab onto the axle and try to wiggle it around. If there’s any play, the joint is bad…. Where are you at again? With all your issues I kind of want to come by and have a look for myself Replacement is actually VERY easy.
