Our electronic tolling system is based on highly-advanced military technology and uses precision equipment aligned with lasers to read a transponder signal and/or take images of a licence plate – even at vehicle speeds greater than 200 km/h.

407 ETR offers several convenient ways to pay your bill:

Is the 407 finished to 115?

The Ontario government has announced the final stretch of Highway 407 — connecting the 407 to Highway 35/115 — and Highway 418 will be open to drivers beginning Monday, December 9th. However, if you do so, you will be responsible for all charges, including Camera Charges, that may result from such use. Important note: If you use your transponder in a rented vehicle, you are responsible for the charges that appear on your 407 ETR bill.
