If I remember correctly it’s telling you there is a controller error. You need a professional scan tool to pull a/c codes. It could be a controller error or a problem with the recirc door. -Start engine. Do not touch any a/c controls for at least 40 seconds while actuators perform relearn.
Where is the recirculate air button on a Chevy 1500?
This is on my 04 Chevy 1500. You go to hit the recirculate air button on the ac/heat control and It blinks a few seconds then goes off. Never stays on. Any ideas? It is supposed to do that.

(The recirculation button is right above the AC button). This causes the an instant temperature update to your system and allow your AC to come on and stay on afterwards. My Chevy service rep. looked up the problem on his GM computer while I stood there, then he printed this solution off for me.
