Got on Amazon and for $90 CDN, ordered a Dorman 600-101 4WD Actuator. The old actuator was tight, but came out without a problem. The Dorman went in a little sloppy. I had to wrap the thread 5 or 6 times with Teflon tape. Took it down and thought job well done. Not so fast. This was not the problem. Still no 4X4 engagement.

4wd issues. 2005 Colorado No lights on transfer case control switch . even LED’s were not coming on to back light the buttons. Replaced the switch with one from a junk yard back lights work but no indicator light as to what mode 2wd or 4wd the truck is in. Fuse is good, checked for voltage at plug of actuator and had voltage.
