The reason I am so pived about this goes to the fact that our 2007 Volvo S80 3.2 has heated/ventilated front seats. When it is hot in the cars cabin, just turn on the cool seat control, and within 5 minutes or so you will feel your lower back and bottom getting blissfully cool.

If the fan is blowing, there is *nothing* for Lexus to “do” about your seats. The bottom line is that the featue just doesn’t work very well. The amount of air the fan blows is so weak that the differance between having it on or off is almost negligable. I mentioned the ventilated seats on my 2007 Volvo S80.

What to do if your heated seat is not working?
Try swapping the driver and passenger breakers and see if your issue with the drivers seat is fixed but now have the problem with the passengers seat. Sorry, that wasn’t very clear.

Why does the driver’s seat not heat up?
The driver’s seat does not heat at all but cools fine. When I turn the switch to heat, the switch light comes on (and stays on) but there is no heat or air flow. I plan on taking it to the dealer this Spring to see if they can fix it.
