What I purchased was the electronic ignition switch that plugs into the lock housing (an actual wiring harness on the 2000), not the lock cylinder tumbler (I do know for sure there is no spring located in the tumbler). I’ve owned this truck for 8 yrs, bought it with 30k on it, and still love it – best truck I’ve ever owned!
