Does Apogee Duet work with Pro Tools?
Pro Tools IO Control software is only compatible with the black, Avid branded Pro Tools | Duet and Pro Tools | Quartet interfaces and does not work with standalone Apogee interfaces which are supported by Maestro software. The silver standalone interfaces from Apogee only work with Mac OS X or iOS.

- Launch the Maestro App.
- Tap “Setup” in the upper left corner.
- Select the Duet.
- Select Update.
- When it’s done, click Reboot.

Duet is easily powered by any available USB port on your Mac in most applications. However there may be scenarios where connecting the external AC power adaptor is required. When connected to iPad, iPod Touch, or iPhone, the DC power supply for Duet MUST be used.
