Silverado clutch/trans info? I recently bought a well used ’05 Silverado 1/2 ton reg cab short bed 4WD w/ 4.3 V6 and the 5 speed Getrag transmission. After spending hours researching on a site dedicated to these trucks, I have come “home” to the TDR hoping for better info/guuidance.

You will need a long ratchet extension and a 15mm swivel socket or a swivel and a 15mm socket to reach the three mounting bolts for the pedal assy; 2 bolts on firewall, (horizontal) 1 above on rear, (vertical, hard to see). Remove the 3 bolts.
