Pablo Kraus was born in Germany and grew up on Auckland’s North Shore. He is group CEO and a director of sustainable home and body care brand ecostore, organics retailer Huckleberry Farms and organic farming and food manufacturer Chantal Organics, and is also a director of media website Newsroom.
What does eco store sell?
Our plant and mineral-based products include cruelty free skincare, haircare and body wash, household cleaners, and greywater safe laundry detergent and dishwashing products.

The ecostore products are fantastic. They clean really well, and an added bonus is they are good for the environment. They come in really nice packaging so I don’t mind them being left out in the kitchen. I use the laundry products for my children’s clothing, and it’s gentle on their skin and smells fantastic.

Earthwise Group was purchased by the Peters family and is still proudly New Zealand owned and operated. Tom’s son Jeremy still works as one of our lead ingredient blenders at Earthwise, continuing Tom’s legacy.

Malcolm and Melanie Rands founded ecostore on New Zealand’s Northland coast in 1993. Part of a group that created an eco-village nestled in a valley dotted with streams and surrounded by native forest, the Rands set out to make their home as clean and green as the land they called home.
