While towing, it seems as if the brakes are dragging, slowing me down, and killing mileage (7-8 with 1900# v nose). Just checked the truck 7 pin and get .7 volts at the trailer brake pin. Is this normal? why would the truck send voltage with nothing hooked up. So the trailer brake system can sense if there is a trailer attached.
