Why does my truck screen keep going black?
The screen and radio comes on when I start the truck, then turns off and on for about 5 minutes then screen and radio both turn off and stay off. I changed the Allison spin on filter and my two fass filters yesterday. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but that was the first time I changed those things.

My 2016 GMC Yukon is having the exact same problem. I had same problem, dealer was unable to restore it. HMI (human machine interface) died. Do a search and find company that can replace VIN is needed. interface located behind glove box, very easy to do self. Dealer quoted $1500.00. I had same problem, dealer was unable to restore it.
Why is my GM FlexRay radio going black?
The FlexRay systems (I don’t know if GM uses this yet or not) seem a little more robust as well as a little easier to diagnose. The nice thing is, is that the software updates usually fix the issues but sometimes do need a complete module if it becomes corrupt. DEF cannot effect the radio at all.

Why is my infotainment screen on my 2016 2500 going black?
Thought I’d post up what I feel might be a possible cause for infotainment screens going black on 2016 2500s. A little over a week ago I experienced my screen going black 4 times in a row over a 20 minute period with a stop/start in the middle of the drive.
