While driving in 2wd it will go in to neutral, but the light shows that it in 2wd and the shifter shows it is in D. I have to pull over and stop put it in park and put it in auto 4 wheel drive and it will work on auto but it always seems to be in four-wheel drive.

Plowed with the truck for three years and was always having issues with the push button 4wd, kept taking it back to the GM dealer, during this time I replaced 1 actuator, 1 push button switch, 1 TCCM, and 2 Transfer case shifter motors (First one was on warranty).
