If it’s pressed in, the lights will not come on regardless of how you program your DIC. Pressed it so that it would not be selected and presto! My interior lights work when I unlock the doors, open the doors, etc. Maybe this will help the OP or some other soul who comes looking. Hi, new here.

If the “Door” option is selected, the dome light will turn on only when the door is opened. Flip the switch to “Door,” and then open the door to test the dome light. Step 2 Replace the bulb if the dome light still does not work. Pry off the dome light cover to access the bulb. Use a flat-head screwdriver.

Unfortunately, this does not fix my problem, I have a 2008 Chevy Tahoe, 3 of the four doors the dome lights come on, but the driver side rear passenger door does not. Where is the door switch for this? I am sure the sensor or push button switch for this door does not seem to be working.
