I bought a VE SV6 back in late 2007, and within 8 months I started recieving the Check Engine Light warning, but it was not the only meassage I recieved. I also got the Stability Ctrl Off, Active Power Mode and Reduced Power warning lights, and the car would pretty much gring to a snails pace from whatever speed I was doing down to 20-30 klms.
Are there any issues with the Holden SV6?
It’s daily, no issue with the interior beyond normal wear and tear. The steering wheel is intact, the plastics haven’t cracked at all, and the seats seem fine for the age they are. Ditto another member of the same family with a BFII XR6 and another with a BFIII XR8.
Why do I get ESP off error on my ve SV6?
Generally the ESP off error is a firmware issue. Most Early VE’s had this problem. I had 2 with this issue. Your’s sounds like a different issues altogether.
