It is a glitch in the security system. They do not know what it is and have been aware of it for years with both the Chev. Colorado and the GMC Canions. Something sends a mixed signal that the truck has been broken into so the ignition system shuts it down so that it can not be stolen. Well at not for 10 to 20 minutes.

Tried to start my 06 Canyon, the dash lights came on when the key is truned to on, but when you trun the key to start the dash lights go out and the starter will not even try to rotate.
