I’ll make you one for $30, but all I’m going to do is strip the sheathing back 6″ and put numbers on the wires which you can do yourself in 10 minutes or less.

A exterior “port”. If I can wire one in, great. It’s a 05 silverado 6 disc BOSE. I know lots of stereos have a AUX port on the back, That would make it easy. BIRDDOG ..I believe that option was NOT started until,2007 I used to have a stereo repair shop wire mine up in the past. Mn. Thanks for the info…Now, how hard to get at the back of the stereo?

You usually need some special tools, IIRC most Gm have 4 little holes in the front plate, that’s where the tool goes in, I think you can get them at walmart usually. Under $10
