Where is the fuel filter on a 2001 Silverado Sierra?
Looked and looked then discovered there is no standard fuel filter on 2001 and newer trucks. Was on my 99 but not on my 2004. There is only a sock style filter on the pump. No other. I guess it works but I’d still feel better about it if there was a standard can style in line filter somewhere. Re: Where is the fuel filter??

No its not needed. The fuel system is a return-less and the filter in the tank (required for emissions) is a lifetime of the pump filter. Almost all MFR’s now use this system. Installing a aftermarket filter with rubber hoses will compromise the line and with the 60+ psi may blow off. I have a Jeep Wrangler with 100000 mi and no problems.
