What’s the problem with a dual fuel tank?
The Return Line can only deliver fuel to the tanks and not to the rail…therefore the pressure would be diverted from the front tank to the nearest relief (rear tank)……Anybody agree with that? Why does gas come out of rear tank?
I simply dropped the front tank and bought brass fittings with caps and put them into the plastic fuel lines after cutting em off and then put hose clamps on them and cut off breather line and put a bolt in it then strapped it all secure to frame. Now running off rear tank.
Why does gas come out of front filler hole?
Last night I noticed a small amount of gas dripping from the front gas tank filler hole. This morning noticed it again in the parking lot of a local store after about a two mile trip from the house. On the way home truck started running funny & even died once. By keeping RPMs up was able to get home.
