Have you driven a 2004 Chevrolet Optra? Displaying 6 reviews for 2004 Chevrolet Optra . Crap Can — Almost as fast as a snail. Good (4wheel discs) breaks. Poor handling. Cheap build quality consisting of mostly cracked/broken plastic but no squeaks. Cheap to buy but was expensive to maintain got horrible mileage. Boring to drive but easy to park.

Safety is not very good.The Daewoo Lanos on which platform the Optra is based earned an appaling 2 stars out of 5 in Euro NCAP crash tests.It is especially dangerous to have a side impact in.I hope you like your cars with a little “character” ;-).

2004 Optra, Purchased mine in Jan. 04 and has 272000 km. The car has been great. Sure it has it’s minor problems, but I love the car.
