Why do we use 2nd row bench seats?
Providing it can be done fairly easily. We chose a 2nd row bench for the pure fact that it is easier to fit three people in the second row bench than in the 3rd row bench. It makes it more comfortable for all having a bench rather than buckets. Click to expand…
How to change second row captains chairs to bench seat?
1. Obtain a bench seat (60 and 40 sides), a few extra seat bolts, and the appropriate plastic trim. 2. Remove the plastic trim pieces around the seat tracks. 3. How many people can fit in the 2nd row?
So, with no 3rd row, and only bucket sets in the 2nd row it only seats 4 people, which is not good enough for my situation. In addition, I like the way the bench “separates” the passenger area from the “trunk” of the vehicle.
