My current 94 Z28 A4 only has 53K original on the car. And i got a Delphi complete assy waiting to install. But some people have said the MSD 6AL burns the opti up. Where does the # 1 piston line up at TDC?
At TDC, the mark on the crank pulley will line up the 0° mark on the timing scale. NOTE: If you don’t feel any pressure (even though the mark on the crank pulley is aligned with the 0° mark on the timing scale), then the #1 piston is on its exhaust stroke.
What should I replace the MSD box on my opispark?
Thinking GMPP because i didn’t really have trouble out of the first one, just swaped it for preventative maint. and have caused alot more maint. i am afraid. Anyway does anyone else have a msd box on their opispark??? Stop replacing just the cap. Bite the bullet and buy a GM complete opti-spark.

Can a distributor be replaced in an older car?
