Can you fix odometer on 1996 Ford Ranger?

Did the trick to fix my 1996 Ford Ranger odometer. Fit was a bit tight on the odometer motor shaft. Had to use a vise to press on. But better tight than loose. The installation is easy enough, but of course there is a.lot of work to do to remove the gage cluster and get at the odometer.
