Now have a working rear view camera using the grey plug. So easy to do and cost me under £25 Update here too! I successfully completed my install today, I had to run the cam wire the length of the car and to the back of the Sync3 unit as I had no plug on the wing. All working now [emoji16]

Where is the camera plug on a Ford Mondeo?
The Mondeo had a bright green plug with nothing connected to it and was on the passenger side of the boot behind the carpet trim. I would imagine the wires ford use are a universal colour, so I know which OEM wire goes where when it comes to connecting up an aftermarket camera.

How to install a reverse parking camera in a Ford Focus?
You can now just put this aside as a spare should you ever need to revert back to the stock light, or sell it on if you want to. Most people use splice blocks for this, but I personally think as long as you well insulate it, you can just splice the wires straight together. Simply get a flat blade screw driver under the edge and pop em out.
