It depends on the year and what the truck has seen for weather. My explorer was a PITA all the bolts body bolts had to be heated the two in the rear i had to be cut out. They are easy to do though just need do one side at a time and watch clearance of brake lines and engine bay wiring, fuel spout,etc.
