Our 2013 Ford Edge has had this problem three times in a month, twice on flat roads, once on an incline/bridge. You are driving along the car is moving, then all of a sudden you lose all power and the engine shuts off. You can’t put the car in neutral and restart, you have to pull over, put the car in park, then the car will start again.

Our Edge is a 2009 model with 15,000 miles. A local dealer had the car for 3 days and could not find the problem. We were told to bring the car back when the problem becomes more frequent.
