It does no harm to run around with the hubs locked and front drive disengaged for the short term. Over the longrun, though, you’ll average worse gas mileage, and have increased wear and tear on the drive train components and tires.
Why is my shift on the fly not working?
I am having troubles with getting my shift on the fly to work properly. engage. I have power to the solinoid, and there is some vaccum, but i am not sure what the specs are for vaccum and voltage. Can someone help me on this. need to have vaccum inorder for the wheels to engage? Might help to give us the year of your truck.
