I have a 2016 Ford Explorer Sport. Heat and A/C work just fine. The air blowing in my car is stuck in the defrost vent setting. The buttons on the screen don’t change the vent locations. I looked up and found it could be the Blend Door Actuator behind the glove box connected to the center console.
