How do you know if your truck is in Regen?

For those of you who don’t know how to tell if a regen has started, look for higher idle (900rpm), and your instant mpg will be lower. Also, your instant mpg won’t say 99 during DFCO (deceleration fuel cut off). In the scanner you can see the egr also is closed during a regen.

Can I turn off my truck during regen?

Yep, put it in park and let it idle. Soon as you put it in park it disables the Regen.
