On 07/03/2018 this truck experienced a total HVAC failure – no fan, no heat, no a/c. Upon investigation, found the a/c control module under the dash located in the duct-work had failed. Replaced said module and everything worked fine. Later learned that this is a very common failure for GM trucks of this vintage.
