Is the heated front driver seat still working?

Heated front drivers seat no longer functions. I press the button and sometimes in turns off after a few seconds sometimes it stays on a little longer. With the Winter months approaching here in New England, it would be nice to have heated seats again.

Why does my heated seat not stay on?

Seems to be a problem with the drivers side mostly, but when the drivers side has a problem it shuts both sides off. Sometimes it will stay on for a while and sometimes it just shuts off immediatly.

Why do the lights go off in the passenger seat?

The passenger seat seems to work fine but when I turn on the drivers seat it shows that itll work and shut off 30 seconds later. Is there a transformer or anything I should be looking for to start sourcing the problem or just begin with the relays and fuses.

Why is my front driver’s seat not working?

The driver’s seat also required replacing. I learned there was a second component that plugged into the heating element. The dealer replaced my heating parts and labor under the extended warranty. I was responsible for the seat cover. There are other posts on this site regarding the heated seats. I’m having the same issue with my 2011 Overland.
