This fits my 2001 Ford Explorer XLT. This is the exact same cap that I purchased from my local Ford dealership – I replaced the original gas cap about 6 years ago after my “gas cap light” came on. After I replaced the original cap (that looked good to me) the gas cap light still remained on.
