Where do the halos and LEDs go on a Spyder?

Instructions say the ccfl halos wire to parking lamp and the led strip goes to the running lights. That correct or you put them all together on drls or parking or what!? If the halos and led strip are wired one to parking and one to drl won’t they be on at separate times. Aren’t they supposed to be on at the same time? I’m so confused!!!!
