If you dont have water in your gasoline (you’d know this by the engine running condition) and you are getting plenty of oil and are not running too rich a fuel mixture to the engine, why do you think you have a problem? Maybe, depending on the oil you are running, you are burning and oil that is very smokey?? Also, what is excessive to you?

Honestly, if you are not fouling plugs and your engine is running well and you have crisp throttle response, I don’t think you have an issue.

Recently, it has started smoking white smoke from the exhaust. Doesn’t appear to be gray or blue, and definitely is not black. It begins by smoking heavily when first cranked and idling, continues while driving, and eventually lightens/lessens while driving.
