Is the Chevy Equinox V6 AWD or AWD?

Comfortable all leather interior and the V6 packs plenty of power on the highway. 2 things that I’m sorely disappointed with. The parking brake handle is in the most inconvenient position. It is impossible to engage the parking brake if you are using the drink holders in the center console. I bought this with a selling point that it was AWD.
