Apparently, according to our local Ford dealership, it’s a known fault with some Ka’s and the car needs re calibrating (or something like that). There’s some info about it here. Choose Ford and then KA. TSB issued to replace throttle position sensor and connector if revs fail to decrease on lift off when upchanging.
