How much horsepower does a Ford Escape have?
Other the intercooler and the automatic transmission the 2.0 Esoboost is pretty rock solid up to between 350-400 horsepower. Many Ford St guys are boosting close to 400 horsepower without issue and that with the stock fuel system and engine internals. Ford made the Ecoboost engine very well besides the sticky issues with the valves.
Is there a turbo upgrade on a Ford Escape?
Since this turbo upgrade is also using our stock turbos (just improving on them by improving the compressors and porting the in/outlets) it should give the car stock performance but at the same time improving the overall performance of the engine. It’s a very interesting concept and it’ll be interesting to see how this upgrade performs.
Is it safe to drive a Ford Escape with a turbo leak?
We was just told that our 2014 Ford Escape had a very slow turbo leak, but the oil was still completely full and the mechanic said I would probably not need to even add oil for another month or so. Is it safe to drive it like this? Is there a way to stop the leak without costing thousands of dollars.
Where does the oil come from in a Ford Escape?
Any help is appreciated on identifying the part and if there could be other areas the oil could actually be coming from. 2014 Escape 1.6l with 90k miles. Black piece in this photo is covered in oil.
