Why does my sliding glass door keep filling with water?

Why does my sliding glass door keep filling with water?

Water collects on both sides of the track where the sliding part of the door sits and where it slides. Last night we had heavy winds with the rain which blew it against the door, and the tracks filled to overflowing quickly even though the rain wasn’t all that heavy. Is there a way to fix this?

When does the water enter the door frame?

Water enters the door frame when the window is rolled down. But when the window is closed, it is supposed to be water tight. I would check the seal too. It doesn’t take much space for water to fill. Did you find the recommended reading relevant to this discussion?

Why is water coming out of my rear door?

Check the photos of the rear door window seal I posted above. They seem to be working by keeping the water out of the door. Corrosion, rust should be a concern and the rear door also has a speaker. The wiring may be protected somewhat, but IDK how well the speaker is protected from water.

Why does my sliding glass door have weep holes?

The track where the screen sits has weep holes. I’ve checked them and they drain properly. But the inside track doesn’t have weep holes and water collects there until it overfills and comes over the edge into the house. It doesn’t look like there’s anywhere for the water to drain.

Why is there water in the footwell of my Ford Fiesta?

The carpet and mat was wet and on the mornings, the damp smell was evident. I felt the water whilst it was dripping and it got colder the longer the air con was on. It was the condensation from the air con! Usually, this condensation drips through a drainage pipe and lands on the floor, under the car.

Why does my back door fill up with water?

My back doors on both side fills up with water when it rains. The water set up in the door. I am afraid that it will rust or the windows will not go down later.

Where are the vents on a Ford Fiesta?

I suggested that it could be entering through the cabin vents that, on most cars, are now located in the lower sides of the luggage compartment behind the side extensions of the rear bumper valences. These are supposed to be one-way flaps, but can stick and admit rainwater flung up by the wheels.
