Why does gas come out of rear tank?

I simply dropped the front tank and bought brass fittings with caps and put them into the plastic fuel lines after cutting em off and then put hose clamps on them and cut off breather line and put a bolt in it then strapped it all secure to frame. Now running off rear tank.

Why does gas come out of back tank of Ford F150?

I have a pain in the tush 93 ford f150, whose front tank went kaput, and have been using the back tank. When today in a parking lot noticed the familiar gas splotches on the ground. And thought what in the world now!!

Why does gas come out of front filler hole?

Last night I noticed a small amount of gas dripping from the front gas tank filler hole. This morning noticed it again in the parking lot of a local store after about a two mile trip from the house. On the way home truck started running funny & even died once. By keeping RPMs up was able to get home.

Why is my fuel tank hard to fill?

This vent hose is usually inside the filler neck and runs down to the fuel tank. If the tank has been removed from the vehicle it may have been dislodged from its original position and can no longer vent the tank when refilling. Hope this helps resolve your concern. Regards…

Where does the gas come from to fill the tank?

The gas kept backing up, wanting to come back up the filler hole. When i checked the Hose that goes to the tank, it is close to being level between the filler hole, and the tank hole. My hose comes up around the top of the frame from the tank to the filler hole.
