Re: My 2011 Ford F150 radio will not work. For a while… Bad capacitor in the radio. You can pull it and tear it down. Look for it. It will be swollen on top or just blown out. Or get a used one at the junk yard. Have it programmed if necessary. You can’t post conmments that contain an email address.

After you unplug your negative battery cable or unplug the wires in the back of the stereo, wait a few minutes, then plug it back on. turn your ignition in the on position and wait for the word “code” to come across the screen. Once prompted, enter the code and the unit will be reset.
