Why does my Jeep Grand Cherokee Run rough?
I’ve got a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 v8 that has suddenly developed a problem that makes the Jeep idle rough and run bad like it is missing or starved of fuel or something. On a cold start, where the car has been sat for some time the car will crank and start straight away without any problem. It will rev up on start and settle down as normal.

It mainly did it going up hill or at around 40 mph at 1300 rpms. Just like the WK2 guys with the 3.6 engine. They are experiencing something similar with having to adjust the way they drive due to lack if power and not so good tuning. It’s going to surge/buck regardless what you do because of lack of power and tunning.

The only way to get the pulsing to stop is to give the jeep more gas. My car surges and pulses during acceleration. Not during the whole acceleration, only when i apply more gas and the rpms rise, usually once i back off it stays steady. It also feelsl ike ive been getting less power in higer speeds.
